I’m listening the Doctrine and Ritual of High Magic by eliphas Levi and this seems like a wonderful modern counterpart. I love magic and ritual and i love your love letter to this book. I’m inspired by your mysterious golden ears and might do something at ours like that too.
the golden ears are special ….. ill tell u since we are down here…. and its quiet…. i am going to have people whisper their shameful confessions in one ear , and then the other, will be their wishes. I think it will be important for people to hear it outloud and do something funny while they do. Ill see how it goes… Gold ear is also just a good look
I am constantly editing at different thresholds of publication and its an inside joke with myself and i dont know if its good habit. Like the original email of this has a photo of jerry seinfeld in it I think. Idk if its a whim i should follow but here we are
this reminded me of my beloved copy of the myth of the eternal return which also has a previous owners name stamped in. must be something about eliades books we want to stake claim on
